Article - Don’t work. Be hated. Love someone.

I just read this post of a speech in a graduation ceremony in Singapore.

People are different but I can connect easily to this speech of Adrian Tan, author of The Teenage Textbook (1988), guest-of-honour at an NTU convocation ceremony to the graduating class of 2008.

In summary, he just says that one must find what a person finds love doing.  He stressed that by suggesting not working or resisting to get a job.

This speech is important to me as I'm in a point in my life pondering on my career path, success, and happiness.

We get this types of advice often but no one seems to be doing it including me.  I think, I'm close to seriousness in following my heart and advice.  I'm planning of a career change away from the IT and office setups to a more dynamic and creative type of career which is Photography.  After all, companies and office mates seem not to appreciate my hard work in these careers.  If I risked it, I might get a job that I love doing and well.
